Identifying Adult Attachment Disorders

Attachment disorders usually happen when children don’t form secure bonds with their caregivers. This can be due to neglect, abuse, inconsistent caregiving, or early separation from parents. As a result, they may struggle to trust others and form healthy relationships later in life. There are two main types: Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) and Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder (DSED), each with its own set of behaviors.
