Meet Dufflyn Lammers — a Relationship and Recovery Expert, and Connections In Recovery’s European Liason.

Dufflyn AKA “The cool aunt who took you to Rehab and Planned Parenthood but made you tell your mom,” is the go-to relationship expert for women in recovery.

Lammers is the founder of www.dufflyn.com where she offers online courses, an online community, and one-to-one coaching for women who want to succeed at sex, love and dating without resorting to tequila, Ben & Jerry’s or *67. She combines a unique background in Tantra, Attachment Repair, Intervention and Coaching to help women create optimum relational wellbeing.

She spent the first 12 years of her own recovery single until at last she met her match. It was a long, hard, painful road for her. But it doesn’t have to be for you! Her mission is to be the coach she would have wished for back then.

She has the best Frida Kahlo costume you’ve ever seen, a self-described “hyena laugh,” and can often be found wandering the streets of Paris looking for Hellman’s Mayonnaise.

I think its drastic to say something like Dufflyn Lammers gave me my husband, but there is truth to that statement. I really had some problems with dependency, codependency and addictive behaviors and she helped me see what my needs were with clarity and particularly just letting me see who my best self is.” – Maggie, Los Angeles.

From the Heart…

From an attachment perspective, meaningful relationships make meaningful lives. And, on any journey toward wellbeing, relationships are central. We all need connection, love and support. So, how can we cultivate healthy, empowering relationships and live our best lives?

Here are 3 quick tips for you, no matter where you are at on that path…

1. If you’re going through a breakup: take 6-12 months to go inside and work on what’s come up for you inside the relationship and in the process of ending it. Like the Dalai Lama says, “When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.” Take time to discover that lesson so that you don’t repeat it.

2. If you’re single and don’t want to be: Practice what I call “abundance dating.” That means you date lots of people, appropriately, at the same time. You explore different kinds of people and enjoy getting to know them and you surround yourself with suitors so that you can come from that “plenty of fish in the sea” kind of place. It’s magnetic!

3. If you’re in a relationship that’s unsatisfying and don’t know if you should stay or go: ask yourself –are you BOTH willing and capable of doing what it takes to save the relationship? Being willing is not the same as being capable. And we need to be honest about that with ourselves and each other. But both people need to be willing AND capable in order to create secure intimate partnership.
