Connections in Recovery is an international addiction and mental health organization that offers expert pre-and post-addiction and mental health treatment services through consultations/assessment and support services, interventions, case management, safe transport, and recovery and mental health companions.
Since 2011, our staff and recovery and mental health companions have coordinated care and assistance to hundreds of people struggling with addiction and mental health issues—inspiring individuals and families to face life’s challenges and achieve greater personal and economic independence.
Our services include:
CONSULTING
We consult families and professionals on placement and treatment plans to aid in their recovery. Connections in Recovery has built an extensive database from researching & touring facilities around the country. Furthermore, CiR does not accept referral fees or contracts, making us an advocate for the family and referent.
For Full Placement Treatment services in Los Angeles as well as in New York and Europe, some of our Consultation services include:
- Consultation in-home meeting based on location
- Assessment
- Paperwork review
- Assemble information to inform the client of all recommendations
- Discuss possible options—We are familiar with many facilities and have toured them.
- Assist with Admission and verification of insurance benefits
- Assist with selecting appropriate therapeutic professionals for your loved on in treatment
- Case Mgmt. throughout their stay including once a week phone calls
- Assist with aftercare planning and make tailor-fitted recommendations
INTERVENTIONS
Connections in Recovery collaborates with seasoned interventionists that are accredited, trained and certified in all different models for Intervention. Our full intervention package includes consultation meetings with each family member identified to be a part of the intervention, a pre-intervention meeting, the actual intervention, and 30 days of case management, which includes assistance in discharge planning.
RECOVERY COMPANIONS
Connections in Recovery companions are experienced in dealing with addiction, eating disorders, personality disorders, executive functioning, and mental health. Our companions are compassionate professionals who monitor and provide guided support to maintain your personal wellness. We are available 24/7 to maintain safety, assist with daily living skills and provide opportunities for your return as an active participant in the community. We collaborate with your treatment team(s) to help ensure goals are achieved and that prescribed medications are taken.
MENTAL HEALTH COMPANIONS
Although symptoms can vary from mild to severe (depending on the person), often the day-to-day living and functioning is challenging for an individual struggling with a mental health disorder. But when an expert helps you get treatment, getting your life back on track is possible. Connections in Recovery’s qualified companions provide personalized mental health support for individuals struggling with a mental health issue.
SAFE/SOBER TRANSPORT
Our companions can safely transport your client or loved one to treatment, home or hospital. Our safe transportation services offer supervision and support to individuals with addiction and/or mental health problems during travel. Transportation supervision is also provided when a person is leaving treatment to go visit family or attend work. Dedicated companions remain by the side of you or your loved one throughout the journey. We encourage and motivate clients to make good choices. All relevant discharge paperwork and/or progress reports will be given to the appropriate parties and we will remain with the client until they have been properly received.
CASE MANAGEMENT
Let Connections in Recovery guide you throughout the many stages of you, your loved one, or your client’s recovery process. Case management services provides the support necessary to navigate all stages of treatment. Our case management services includes communicating with multiple service providers, managing your ongoing appointments and helping you to understand complex treatment plans. Case Management becomes your liaison to your family, the treatment team and legal team.
